Talk about a beautiful late summer wedding inspiration, perfect for all of our brides putting on the finishing details for their 2018 weddings (and perhaps brides planning their 2019 weddings, too!). For the die-hard romantic, you'll love the whimsical concept styled by Perfect The Event, and the florals? Out of this world with the texture and deeper summer tones, beautifully designed by Mulberry and Moss. We marvelled at these film photographs by Jennifer Fujikawa for quite some time and dreamt of a future visit to Kestrel Park....
From photographer Jennifer Fujikawa: "The overall inspiration for this shoot was to bring the renaissance era to modern day. Think if Romeo & Juliet were to actually have a glorious wedding day amongst families whom loved each other. Consider it an alternate ending to the Shakespearian classic.
A rich pattern and deep color tones were a necessity when it came to completing the table design concept. La Tavola Fine Linens had the perfect table drape that easily could of been dated back to the 1500s. Mixed metals, stoneware, and other organic elements like wood planks helped tie in the natural feeling that would of easily been used in this time period as well. Cherished Rentals and Sweet Salvage Rentals had the perfect tabletop pieces and rentals. To complete the table it was essential to have it look as if the couple would be dining in a glorious feast amongst their guests. Luscious neutral floral with pops of coffee roses from Mulberry and Moss mixed in with various food items, not to mention a marvelous cake from Grace and Honey Cakes.
The day would not of been epic without of course a glorious gown. This Sauvignon gown from Claire Pettibone was the definition of modern day renaissance. Our beautiful bride was glowing in it along with fine jewelry accessories from Trumpet and Horn.
There is a saying that style always comes back around over time and we wanted to prove that theory!"
